Motorola Droid Bionic, Arriving on September 8

Verizon has just unveiled the launching date for its Motorola Droid Bionic. The handset is targeting a September 8 release, with a price tag of $299.99.
Following series of delays, the company had finally scheduled an official launching date for the anticipated Motorola Droid Bionic. The 4G LTE handset will now be hitting the Web store on September 8 — almost eight months since being introduced at CES last January. The phone was actually expected to be released by spring, but it was postponed due to an issue made by the NVIDIA Tegra 2 to TI OMAP processor switching.
The Motorola Droid Bionic is said to be sporting a 4.3-inch, 540×960 pixel qHD display, with a 1GHz-dual core that acts as its processor. It also comes with a huge 512MB of RAM, an 8-megapixel rear camera, and a VGA front-facing camera for video calling. The Droid Bionic could as well shoot videos in 1080p.
On the day of its launching, consumers will be entitled to grab a special package offering from Costco. The deal would include a car windscreen dock, a docking station, an extra battery, and a battery dock for only $200, with no additional charge.
