Sony looks into the future of cross-platform games with PlayStation Suite. Now you can play PlayStation titles on your Android phones as well!

Sony has unveiled another ground breaking improvement that transcends the barrier between gaming consoles and smartphones at the Sony Press Conference in Tokyo. The ‘PlayStation Suite’ is probably the next generation of gaming where certified PlayStation games can do a cross-platform from Sony consoles like the PSP2/NGP to mobile phones, particularly Android powered ones (sorry Apple fans!).

PlayStation 3 Version of Valve’s Portal 2 Goes Cross-Platform

Get your gear on as Portal 2 goes cross-platform that will allow you to play against the toughest players from different consoles.

Portal 2 fans can definitely shout out loud as Valve reveals that the PlayStation 3 version of Portal 2 will have Steam features that will allow players to enjoy multi-platform perks such as cross-platform (PC/Mac vs. PS3) play for multiplayer games and cross-platform chat. What’s more, by just linking their PSN and Steam accounts, PS3 players of Portal 2 can unlock Steam Play (PC and Mac) copy of Portal 2 for free.

You've been waiting for this since you knew it will happen. It has arrived ---Yahoo Messenger 3G. It's all free of charge so in case you're not using a 3G phone, throw it away and avail the one that lets you use YM 3G.

Last week there was a rumor that Yahoo Messenger is up for updates that will include the 3G video calling. Everyone got so excited, including us.  And now here it is —introducing the all new Yahoo Messenger with video calling for 3G devices. What made it special is that it works on computers and phones too. Amazing, isn’t it?

The smartphone with the rear facing cameras besides iPhone are supported by this. The update will include an iOS 4 multitasking and instant notifications. It comes for free!
