Nintendo 3DS might face a new problem, as several users of the console finds a technical flaw on the D-pad.

Nintendo 3DS consoles is subjected to face a new defect on their system. A number of 3DS users discovered that a few months after their purchase, the directional button pad of the console began to warp. Then layers of the pad began to separate, impeding the ability to play.

However, the control pad issue may not be as significant as it seems. That’s because almost all the players typically use the analog stick for primary gameplay, with the D-pad taking on a more secondary role.

Defective equipment is not the only problem being faced by Nintendo nowadays. Last week Nintendo’s CEO, Satoru Iwata, released an apology letter to the 3DS’ early adopters after the firm announced that it will cut down the console’s price by 32%. The product has been in the market for 6 months.
