Ditching a phone like HTC Hero is understandable. But Desire? No way!

Last Tuesday, HTC announced that the Desire is not qualified for an Android 2.3 update due to lack of memory. But due to enormous pressure garnered from this statement, the company reconsidered their decision immediately. It seems that the company was able to solve the RAM puzzle, and decided that Gingerbread will eventually come to HTC Desire.

As it turns out, the people’s voice really matters and that they couldn’t get away with laziness and just throw the HTC Desire for dead. Well done, HTC!

After not having enough details with HTC Ace when it turned up in a leaked roadmap, hear a fresh set of gossip that’s worth your time.
