Dissidia Duodecim Prologus Final Fantasy demo coming to Europe and PAL territories on March 23.
For those who can’t wait to get their hands on Dissidia Duodecim Final Fantasy in Europe and PAL, here’s something to look forward to (but you still have to wait): Square Enix has announced that it will be releasing the demo prologue of the epic cross-over fighting game called ‘Dissidia Duodecim Prologus Final Fantasy’ on March 23 for Europe and Pal territories. Let the sound of squealing fanboys begin as Final Fantasy VII's Aerith makes an appearance in Duodecim 012 Final Fantasy as a support character.
One of the most popular female characters in the Final Fantasy universe is going to make an appearance in the latest FF fighting crossover, Dissidia Duodecim : Final Fantasy. Aerith Gainsborough, the SPOILERdeadSPOILER heroine of Final Fantasy VII will once again be back in another Final Fantasy game. Don’t get your hopes too high up though, especially you fanboys, as reports confirm that Aerith will only be an assist character rather than a playable one.
Duodecim director Mitsunori Takahashi revealed in an interview with Famitsu that Aerith will somehow be more of a support support character, meaning that instead of using damaging spells and attacks, she will using several abilities that would put her main character at a huge advantage. One of the abilities mentioned is her “Hoshi no Shugo,” which makes her allies invincible for a moment. Entertainment Software Rating Board or ESRB released the official rating information for the upcoming sequel of the Final Fantasy crossover hit, Dissidia 012 (Duodecim) Final Fantasy. The board described Dissidia as a game with Fantasy Violence, Mild Language, Partial Nudity, and Suggestive themes. While we already accepted as the first two as a mandatory feature that gives the game a little more life, we may very well put the blame of the last two ratings to one character, Tifa Lockheart.

Square Enix just unleashed their newest trailer for Dissidia Duodecim Final Fantasy. Lightning, Tifa, Kain, and other new characters join in the fray as the short clip somehow explains their purpose and motivation in siding with Cosmos. The trailer, which was first shown in Jump Fiesta 2011, also showed some sweet bits on how the Assists will work in the game. Moreover, Tifa and Cloud looked amazing when they were fighting Sephiroth together!
