Internet Explorer 9 Hits 2.3M Downloads in First 24 Hours

Internet Explorer 9 looks like its on the road to redeem what Internet Explorer 8 messed up.
Despite negative feedbacks from consumers in Twitter (several of them are probably Chrome and Firefox cultists), the Internet Explorer 9 has been downloaded 2.35 million times in its first 24 hours after the Monday night release. The numbers average over 27 downloads per second or 270 downloads every 10 seconds. The figure is double the 1 million downloads IE9 Beta received and four times more than that of the IE9 RC within the same time frame.
