Did you miss Super Mario? Then, you must jump for joy because your favorite Italian plumber is back and he’s got some 3D surprise for you.

The new Super Mario Bros. game for the 3DS is now on the go. The news was confirmed by Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto.

“In the interests of adopting new technology for the Super Mario Bros. tradition, I am now making a new Super Mario Bros. game for the Nintendo 3DS system.”

However, some details about the game remains unknown yet. But Miyamoto added that players are up for superb features.

“I think Tezuka-san is exactly right about making something that families can enjoy together,” he explained, “but I also think it’s important to always use the most advanced technology for Mario in order to create something no one has ever seen before.

“Of course, it’s important to make sure people still say things like “Falling down the holes is the most fun!” but something new is necessary for other aspects of the games, and it’s those new elements that make a Super Mario Bros. game what it is. ”

We last saw Marion on a 2D output for Wii in 2009. Miyamoto didn’t give out much information on when will it launch. He finished off the conversation with this statement:

“I want to show everyone as soon as possible what the new Super Mario Bros. will be like on the Nintendo 3DS.”

Pokemon Black & White surprisingly became a record-breaking game in Nintendo history. It bagged the title of the fastest-selling game the company ever had. But which was the one who contributed more? is it the Black or the White?

Pokemon Black & White sold millions of copies on its first week. But we don’t know who contributed more to that success.

Black & White versions all-together got 2,558,000 units. But Black is better selling than the White. It contributed 1,323,000 units while White got 1,234,000 units only.

However, it’s still a close fight. Black & White ranked as the highest first week sales record in the history. Fastest start ever for a Pokemon game, overthrowing Diamond & Pearl’s 1,589,000 units from September 2006.

Black & White sales brought a large explosion to the overall software enterprise. Total units for the week reached 3,196,673 units, 371.30% from the prior week. ¥100 million for the week, making it the top sales week for the year.

Nintendo likes to bring up the sales success stories at the press conferences the video company holds. So expect additional sales stats on the Black & White on the 29th. Pokemon fans just made black and white edition of the series reach Platinum.

The phenomenon of Pokemon to the kids and kids at heart is still up until now. But determining the sales of its success can be a little tricky.

According to Media Create, Pokemon Black and White has gone Platinum in Japan. As for pre-order basis, the sales hit 1.08 million units already. This is just all from pre-sale.

The pre-orders’ availability just started July 31 which the Pokemon Company claims to be a new speed record of sales for DS platform. The company is expecting a 1.5 million sales before hitting the stores on September 18. But it would make the Pokemon maker happier if they get to reach 10 million sales and go Diamond. Or even making it 20 million for the rarely achieved SoulSilver status.

Like what the anime says, the Pokemon fans must gotta catch them all!
