Gamestar, online retailer has just revealed a few exciting details about the Dissidia Duodecim Final Fantasy in a new listing.

The director and program manager for Dissidia Duodecim Final Fantasy reveals more secrets about the game. This time it's not just about Laguna.
The final issue of Famitsu for this year features a special on Dissidia Duodecim Final Fantasy, along with an interview with producer Tetsuya Nomura and planning director Mitsunori Takahashi.
The two big wigs shared new details on the character Laguna. FFVIII supposedly appears in Kingom Heats Birth by Sleep, according to Nomura. They’d even prepared a scene where Laguna appears as the head of Mirage Arena. However, in the mission to find a new character for FFVIII in Duodecim, they left him out.
Another big surprise revealed in the game’s Jump Festa trailer was the introduction of PSP hardware handle. Square Enix is still on the works for a model of the PSP sysstem, but Nomura confirmed to the magazine that it will carry a Yoshitaka Amano illustration showing Chaos and Cosmos. V Jump reveals another hint on the much-awaited Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy. This time, it is about the World Map. According to V Jump, the world map of Dissidia 012 resembles the map on Final Fantasy 1. Plus, on next month's issue they will be doing a "shocking" character reveal.
Last week, Jump issued preliminary details on Dissidia Duodecim Final Fantasy’s new world map feature. Today, its sister publication V Jump reveals a few more to add up with the euphoria of Dissidia.
Dissidia Duodecim Final Fantasy is set on a large world map. The players head off to an adventure to save the world which is being devastated by the power of Chaos.
V Jump screenshots showed the player controlling system wherein such characters like Lightning and Vaan in a 3D environment. Present are treasure boxes to be found here and there.
Apparently, it would be a dangerous place due to “Imitation”, the creatures of Chaos who roam around the world. The magazine also mentioned the presence of gimmicks and devices. However there is no explanation yet on what the enemies and the devices do.
Jump also said that Duodecim will have the option for menu-based controls. Using this input, player can select commands like move, fight and defend from a menu just like in RPG gameplay. It will also include an easier release of EX Bursts and assist commands.
V Jump lets people anticipate their issue for next month as they hinted a rather “shocking” new character reveal. This could be the much awaited revelation. Gadg will keep you posted as always. Final Fantasy VIII's prominent character, Laguna Loire, will appear on the upcoming Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy. Jump reveals the participation of the character on Dissidia. He will be playable in the game equipped with a machine gun and a pair of superb combos.
A new character for Dissidia Duodecim Final Fantasy has been revealed and as expected, Shounen Jump is the one to do the unveiling.
The upcoming issue of Jump revealed that Final Fantasy VIII’s Laguna Loire will be present in the game. Laguna will make use of the machine gun as his weapon for destruction. Players will have the leisure to run while gunning away and also increase combos bu holding down the fire button. Laguna’s EX Burst will give him the ability to use his weapons to blast away an opponent.
Joining the league of the characters unleashed months ago, Jump will have a first glimpse on a new gameplay feature —a world map. However, it is still unclear how this system will work, but a screenshot shows Lightning moving about on a 3D field with what looks like Tifa and Warrior of Light in her “party.”View Article Source »
