One of the most popular female characters in the Final Fantasy universe is going to make an appearance in the latest FF fighting crossover, Dissidia Duodecim : Final Fantasy. Aerith Gainsborough, the SPOILERdeadSPOILER heroine of Final Fantasy VII will once again be back in another Final Fantasy game. Don’t get your hopes too high up though, especially you fanboys, as reports confirm that Aerith will only be an assist character rather than a playable one.
Duodecim director Mitsunori Takahashi revealed in an interview with Famitsu that Aerith will somehow be more of a support support character, meaning that instead of using damaging spells and attacks, she will using several abilities that would put her main character at a huge advantage. Entertainment Software Rating Board or ESRB released the official rating information for the upcoming sequel of the Final Fantasy crossover hit, Dissidia 012 (Duodecim) Final Fantasy. The board described Dissidia as a game with Fantasy Violence, Mild Language, Partial Nudity, and Suggestive themes. While we already accepted as the first two as a mandatory feature that gives the game a little more life, we may very well put the blame of the last two ratings to one character, Tifa Lockheart.
