A leaked slide presentation from ASUS reveals that AMD's upcoming Bulldozer CPUs will feature eight cores and revised TurboCore technology. But how true could that be?

An allegedly leaked slide presentation from ASUS details the specs of AMD’s upcoming Bulldozer CPUs, FX-8130P and FX-8110. Recently appeared from ZOL forums, the slide has some erased figures from it — including the clock speed. Apparently, it was carried out to keep the anonymity of the person who leaked the slide presentation.

However, some intrepid forum users tried to guess the scratched figures by looking at the remaining outlines of the numbers. The current numbers being bandied around indicates that the Bulldozer CPUs will have a stock speed of 3.8GHz (4.2GHz with Turbo Core) for FX-8130P, while the FX-8110 has 3.6GHz (4GHz with TurboCore). The leaked slide presentation also points out that AMD’s new processors will feature eight cores and will come with a revised TurboCore technology, enabling later Phenom X6 CPUs to increase their core speeds based on the workload.

But despite the figures and other information posted here, GADG advises that people should take this detail as a grain of salt. After all, they are coming from an alleged leaked slide presentation. More updates are sure to come, so just keep it posted here at GADG.
