Japan Games Losing Their Vigor – PlatinumGames CEO

Can PlatinumGames save Japan's gaming industry?
If it’s one thing Japan games have been telling us over the past few years, it’s that the industry is crumbling to mediocrity, lagging far behind when it comes to creativity and quality to its global competitors. This is what PlatinumGames CEO, Tatsuya Minami, thinks as well when he delivered his thoughts about the country’s gaming industry at his note “Platinum Next: The Japanese Standard Bearer In Global Competition.”
Ultimately, Minami wants PlatinumGames to bring back the lost vigor as the company aims to be “the face of Japanese game studios on the worldwide stage.”
