Google Walking Navigation and Street View for Android

Going places? Use the new Google Walking Navigation and Street View to get there fast and easy.

We are starting to think that the men behind Google are making it a habit to announce new upgrades every month. They’re rolling new things and today’s upgrade involves Android. From this day, Android phones with 1.6 and up versions will have an added attraction for you to enjoy.

This new feature is called Walking Navigation Beta and Street View. The first one is tagged into Google Maps for mobile 4.5, giving pedestrians a more invigorating routing option when using their feet to travel from one place to another. It’s still running on beta but the snitch is the “vibrate to turn” alert and the map’s capability to rotate with you.

Street View navigation is handing us the same stuff that we see on desktop browsers. But the obvious difference is that this time it is made for your phones. The new Google Maps will make it easier to find the places that you need to locate. If you need extra visual stimuli while the downloads are on progress hit play.
