HTC Flyer Perched in Europe Today

HTC Flyer comes to Europe; priced at £600 for 3G, £480 for WiFi-only version.

Good news for fans of 7-inch Android tablets! HTC released the news that 1.5GHz Flyer is now available across Europe at this moment. Pricing varies depending on the features included with the tablet. The one which carries 32GB and equipped with 3G is priced at £600 / €649; while the unit which 16GB and has Wi-Fi is priced at £480 / €499. Local carriers are offering a cheaper price of £129 on contract.

The most-debated component called the Magic Pen is shipped together with the tablet, so no extra charge will be credited to customers. The HTC Store is open for pre-orders but units are expected to appear in stores at this very day.

Rumor: HTC is Building a Tablet with Nvidia Tegra 2

Pegatron has supposedly landed a contract to produce an Android tablet for smartphone-maker HTC. So if you are one of the many hopefuls for an HTC Android Tablet, then you might be in luck.

With HTC saying that they will not build a tablet, consumers hopes might be down the drain. However, words on the street has it that Pegatron just received an Android Tablet order from the smartphone manufacturer. It is also reported that the rumored HTC device will pack Nvidia Tegra 2 chipset.

According to Digitimes, the device will house Bluetooth and GPS, 2GB of memory, Wi-Fi, 32GB solid slate storage, multi-touch 1280 x 720 display, Nvidia Tegra 2 and Android. Though no definite price has been mentioned, “market watchers” estimates that it will be tagged around $789.75. There’s no word as to when the release date will be either.
