HTC Hero S Comes to US Cellular

HTC Hero S was seen in the wild with a US Cellular branding.

’s emerged with a branding, along with the Electrify that was confirmed earlier this month. The Hero S appears to represent yet another US-bound CDMA variant of HTC’s Kindgom handset, providing many of the same as the Hero 4G that was previously rumored to be heading Sprint.

HTC Hero S is said to have a four-inch display with qHD resolution, along with a single-core Snapdragon CPU running at 1.2GHz. Other features include dual cameras, a five megapixel sensor and 768MB of RAM.

HTC Sensation XE: The New Dual-core Monster

HTC is unleasing its new monster with dual-core processor this year -- the Sensation XE.

HTC just announced the , a monster that gathers everything the company has to offer. The device 4.3-inch qHD S-LCD display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 8-megapixel camera, Beats Audio and the latest and Sense software.

The HTC Sensation XE is based on HTC Sensation’s MSM8260 Snapdragon chipset, but with a dual-core CPU clocked at 1.5GHz. However, it offers the same 768MB RAM, Adreno 220 GPU, Android 2.3 , and HTC Sense 3.5 UI.

The HTC Sensation XE is the first to carry the Beats Audio logo, and it will come with new Beats headset and some of its audio magic — bringing in a dramatic improvement in the sonic experience. As for the camera, the device features an 8-megapixel stills and 1080p video recording. There’s also a dual LED flash and a front-facing VGA camera on board. In terms of connectivity, the HTC Sensation XE has a quad-band GSM, dual-band 3G with HSPA support, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 3.0 and FM Radio. The device also comes with 3.5mm audio jack, MHL-enabled microUSB port and microSD card slot.

HTC’s Sensation XE is expected to hit the stores on Q4 2011, while its price is yet to be disclosed. Meanwhile, bear in mind that the device is not the rumored Runnymede.

It's official! Apple Store in Hong Kong will be open on September 24.

Apple alread posted banners setting September 24 as the opening date for their first Apple store in Hong Kong. The said two storey shop has a banner advertising “Apple HK,” and brags its position in the very high-end International Finance Center which is one of the highest-rent retail areas in the world.

The new Apple store, as seen in the photo, is said to be the newest center of the city’s Central District with regards to its location. Some consider the store as a very important part of Apple’s Southeast Asian growth, which saw sales grow to 600% every year this past spring.

HTC Jetstream Tablet and LG Thrill 4G on Sale at AT&T

HTC Jetstream at $700 and LG Thrill 4G at $100 - both on contract - is now available in AT&T.

AT&T got one of their more important weekends ahead of the iPhone 5 with the arrivalof HTC Jetstream and LG Thrill 4G. The HTC Jetstream is not just the said carrier’s first LTE-based 4G tablet, but it also serves as the firms’ first 10-inch tablet outside of the iPad. This device features Android 3.2, combined with HTC’s first version of Sense interface for the tablet-native Google OS.

Meanwhile, the Thrill 4G will be an American version of the Optimus 3D. It goes along with supporting AT&T’s HSPA+ 3G bands.

Leak Unveils Pricing For Xoom LTE, HTC Rhyme

A leak from Verizon revealed the pricing plans for Motorola Xoom LTE and HTC Rhyme.

An alleged pricing schedule for the upcoming offerings has emerged, providing insight into launch plans for several gadgets like the LTE and Rhyme. The minimum advertised (MAP) list, which was posted by Droid-Life, claimed that the LTE-equipped tablets may ship on September 8 for $499 with a two-year contract.

If the said details are correct, the tablets – installed with LTE radios – might arrive before Motorola finishes outfitting the first run of devices sold to customers with a promised free future upgrades. The company was alleged to be limiting the first upgrades to businesses and government customers.

The leaked document also puts a light on the unannounced handset which seems to be paired with the model number ADR6330. Other details are still unclear, however, the $199 price tag states that the smartphone will provide a midrange feature set.
