Samsung Galaxy S I9000 Gingerbread Update Resumes

Samsung is giving its Galaxy S I9000 subscribers a sweet treat, as the company resumes its Gingerbread software update anew.
The Samsung Galaxy S owners are in for some good news, as the company pushes its Android 2.3 Gingerbread update afresh. It should be recalled that the company first released the software update through Samsung Kies last March, but was pulled out due to undisclosed issues. However, rumors had it that bug problems were the cause of the delay.
The Android 2.3 update is currently available for UK, though it might take a little longer for other carriers. The Gingerbread is expected to improve Samsung Galaxy S’ performance, decrease battery drain and provide some usability tweaks. When this software update comes out smoothly, Samsung Galaxy S owners will definitely enjoy.
