Facebook for iOS 3.5 makes your mobile browsing more inline with the social network's changes in web UI.

Facebook has updated its iPhone app to iOS 3.5, and you can grab it now in Apple’s App Store.

With the said update, Facebook Profile and Groups should now look even more familiar; while the sharing options and privacy controls were tweaked to be similar with the desktop browser. The Facebook for iOS 3.5 also enables users to tag friends and places in posts, as well as in-app web pages. The compose screen was also updated with buttons to add friends from a list, tag a place, or add photo or video.

Improved Copying, Moving and Renaming Files Comes with Windows 8

Windows 8 will feature an improved copying, renaming, moving and deleting of files.

President of Windows and Windows Live, Steven Sinofsky, announced their planned improvements for Windows 8 in a blog post. The company’s major redesign of its flagship operating system is expected to have improved copying, moving, renaming and deleting files. Windows 8 will be designed to run on tablets, laptops and desktops with a home screen featuring optimized tiles for touchscreens.

Director of program management in Windows’ engineering team, Alex Simons, said in the blog post: “There are some pretty cluttered and confusing parts of the Windows 7 copy experience. For Windows 8, we want to make sure that using these core file management commands, which we collectively refer to as ‘copy jobs,’ is a great experience.”

That said, Windows 8 developers are creating one place to manage and monitor all copy jobs, offering people more control of copy operations.
