Apple UK seems like not that good in keeping some information a secret. But nevertheless, iOS 4.1 is out and the news should not be kept long. Owners of iPhone 3G now has a reason to wait for September 8.
The Apple UK site revealed that the launch date of iOS 4.1 is set on September 8. The new version brings bug fixes, Game Center, HDR Photography, HD video uploads, TV rentals, and the most important of all — iPhone 3G performance fixes. The much improved 3G will be the biggest gain from iOS 4.1 by the iPhone 3G owners. With iOS 4.1, the user interface becomes more responsive and beats its predecessor over board. It’s not as good as the 3GS, but it might suffice for the owners to switch. The next update, iOS 4.2, will also be around the corner and scheduled for November.

This September, Apple will be holding its annual music and media event and rumors are spreading that the company shall present during the program the fourth-generation iPod and the iTV. Aside from these things. what else is in store for us?
According to the grapevine, Apple is currently testing the iOS 4.0 mobile operating system on several devices like iPod and iPad plus in an unknown product.
The latest beta of iOS 4.1 includes three new new “Configuration Descriptors” within its USB configuration files. The first product to contain this system is the new generation touch dubbed as “iPOd 4,1“.
The second product to be released with USB configuration files is called “iProd 2,1“ which is a material update of the iPad.
Lastly, the most intriguing is the device only known for now as “unknownHardware.” It has already a Apple product ID of 20547 but it still lacks description.
