With credit card stacking to the hundreds and even the thousands, Apple announces that it will now remove the 15-minute password window for in-app purchases giving kids something to cry and parents to be happy about.
Extinguishing the fire before it fans into flames, Apple has announced that it will be removing the 15-minute password window for In-App purchases for the iOS 4.3. It was not long ago when a particular parent raged about her credit card bill thanks to unconsented in-app downloads by her children for games. That’s the message Verizon seems to be sending as they telecast their latest TV commercial, as the company and the iPhone 4 comes out to the market February 10, 2011. The 30-second, visual hyperbole of a commercial ended with a warm thanks by Verizon to their unyielding fans that never stopped believing that their partnership with Apple’s iPhone 4 would be possible. And although this clip won’t get any Cannes advertising awards anytime soon, who cares. We get the short and sweet message they want to convey.
