Another company is on the works to launch an Internet TV system challenge and set to become the latest rival of Google and Apple TVs.
Though not yet an actual product, Snaptick gave CNET a good glimpse of its Internet TV system which will be a challenge for Google TV and Apple TV. The company promises the “full web” on your TV which is controlled by aphone a phone and/or laptop. On their iPhone app, you can actually browse content from your iPhone for your television. In addition, the technology is also capable of a multiple people control on the same TV with the use of several iPhone units.
The only problem as of the moment is that the company hasn’t finalized the materials for its external properties. The company is still deciding between a good old set-top box or a built-in Blu-ray player or TV. Also, there is no price and release date yet. However, the company is now accepting apps for a private beta. Can’t picture it out? See the video after the break.
