China Approves Nintendo 3DS

Nintendo gets a golden pass to China as the local government approves the selling of the Nintendo 3DS there.
In a country where almost all consoles are banned, Nintendo got China’s approval to sell the Nintendo 3DS there. However, the Nintendo 3DS will be taking a different name as it will be called the “iQue 3DS”. iQue is Nintendo’s partner inside China. This move apparently got a couple of advantages as the much anticipated 3D console makes its way into a market where the Xbox 360 and PS3 have never even touched yet.
Ever since 2000, the Chinese government has denied video game consoles entry for this reason: video games might make their children neglect their duties and obligations to their country. However with the ban not covering PC gaming, it didn’t fully supress the video game culture.
