PSP Vita Release Date, Moved to 2012 for US and Europe

Sony's PlayStation Vita will miss out the holiday shopping frenzy in US and Europe.
Finally, the timeline for the PlayStation Vita’s release date has been set. But if you’re living in US and Europe, perhaps you won’t like this announcement made by Sony.
Kazuo Hirai, Sony Corp. Executive Vice President, confirmed that the upcoming PSP successor will still hit the markets of Japan by the end of 2011, but won’t be available in U.S. and Europe until next year. Kazuo Hirai pointed out that this issue was not considered to be a “delay”. They just wanted to make sure that the system has been equipped with a wide array of HD titles the moment it launches.
