Any parent knows that his or her kids flock to computers like moths to a flame. That means greasy fingerprints, scratched screens, and various “oopsies” that put their laptop in constant jeopardy. Good thing, there's Power 2.0 to the rescue!

PeeWee PC is one of the many companies that has attempted to make kid-friendly computers. The company has upgraded its Power laptop, and now becomes Power 2.0. The Power 2.0 is more about safe experience for both the hardware and the children. It sports the basic netbook features like Intel Atom N270 processor, 1GB RAM, 30GB Hard Drive, SD/MMC memory card slot, built-in Wi-Fi, webcam and 8.9-inch LED-backlit screen. Power 2.0 runs on Windows 7, and includes Microsoft Works productivity apps and 15 educational games. But the best feature of this kid-friendly laptop is the PeeWee Patrol and PeeWee Privacy. They are a pair of security programs that limit and monitor your kid’s web surfing activities. Though the $449.99 price tag sounds too much, it is definitely worth it for a child-friendly netbook with a kid-proof system. The whole device is housed in a sturdy plastic case that is drop-resistant, as well as waterproof keyboard.

Are you going to buy and wrap PeeWee PC’s Power 2.0 laptop as a gift for your kids this Christmas?
