Three years have passed since the last Macbook product. But no time to reminisce now for the newest version of Macbook is coming to town.
AppleInsider revealed a rumor that will make anyone giddy. Something about a smaller and unbelievably lighter version of a laptop. This will be the newst version of the Macbook Air laptop.
After a series of competition about iPad and tablets, finally, they’ve realized that behind the genre of tablets, laptops are still alive and breathing.
It’s been roughly three whole years since Macbook Air landed on our laps. Hailed as an extremely useful product with several things in store for you.
The newest Air reportedly features a whooping 11.6″ screen and the Intel Core i-series CPU for low power and high output. There is no doubt the new Air will carry an SSD, and let’s not get surprised to see a 3G data package, similar to the one present on iPad.View Article Source »
Android surprised us again with another innovation.
The Toshiba SmartPad is no longer called like that. This new gadget will be named Toshiba Folio 100. Along with this name were specs that leaked.
According to Notebook Italia, the Folio 100 will have:
OS: Android 2.2
Processor: Nvidia Tegra 2
Display: multitouch display 10.1 “widescreen WSVGA (1024x600pixel)
Audio: 2 stereo speakers and microphone 0.5 W
Storage: 16GB internal memory
Networking: 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G
Ports: HDMI, USB 2.0 standard, USB 2.0 mini audio jack
Card reader: SD (up to 32GB) MMC
Battery: 1020mAh, 3.7V, 22600mWh. Up to 7 hours of life with mixed use
Internet: Opera Mobile Browser with Flash 1.10
Productivity suite of office applications, PDF reader, ebook reader and RSS aggregator
Multimedia: 1.3 MP Webcam
Dimensions: 281 x 181 x 14mm
Accessories: IR transmitter and housing
All this must corresponds to a solid tablet with a rather unfortunate (or at least unfortunate) name. Also, for some reason that Toshiba is looking to add its own App Store to complement the Android Market. As for the name SmartPad (which I think was not that great to begin with), it seems it will live on a hook for all devices-term future of Toshiba Tablet-style.View Article Source »
