HP is Searching for Adopters of its WebOS

HP is currently in negotiation to various companies that are interested to license their WebOS.
As reported by Bloomberg, HP CEO – Leo Apotheker – announced that the company is negotiating with a number of companies who are interested to adopt their WebOS mobile software. Leo Apotheker said in an interview in Beijing last Monday:
“We are talking to a number of companies. I can share with you that a number of companies have expressed interest. We are continuing our conversations.”
However, Leo Apotheker declined to elaborate on the detail, and refused to give a definite time frame on when the partnership would take action. The HP CEO didn’t even comment on the rumors that Samsung is one of the interested parties to adopt the HP WebOS. Currently, the Korean conglomerate is using Google’s Android OS in its line of Galaxy smartphones and tablets.
