T-Mobile G2x Now Runs Gingerbread OS

The mobile carrier pushed through with its plans to integrated Android 2.3 to its LG G2x handset.

It’s now official; LG G2x is running on Gingerbread OS. The updates bring the following improvements to the device:

• Longer battery life
• Use the Oik record and share and see the improved performance of the front-facing camera
• Better disabling Car Home
• Easy solutions for sudden reboots

In order to manually do the update, go to Settings > About Phone > Software Update. Easy.
