LG Unveils its Thinnest LED Display

LG has unveiled what will be its slimmest LED display to date. The LG E2290V is designed specifically for gamers and video users to make full use of the high-end refresh rates.
Measuring a meager 7.3 mm, LG has unveiled what seems to be its slimmest display to date. The 21.5-inch LG E2290V display sports a 1920 x 1080 pixel full HD video playback, two milliseconds response rate, a 10,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and LG’s LED technology that reduces power consumption by up to 40%. Designed with gamers and video users in mind, the LG E2290V houses all of its features in a silver base with its power supply and connection socket at the back. Priced at $435, the LG E2290V will be launched in Asia this month and will hit Europe and US by January 1, 2011.
