Ming-Chi Kuo just unveiled iPad 2's components. The iPad 2 will have a better quality display, faster chips, separate CDMA and GSM versions, and iPod touch-like dual cameras. Excited already?

Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst from Concord Securities, reported what the next generation iPad will look like. According to him, the iPad 2 won’t get a Retina Display this year. However, the improvement of iPad 2’s display will focus on thickness and anti-reflection. The main reason iPad 2 will not have a retina display is because of the panel making’s yield rate. Manufacturing high-resolution IPS/FFS panel is not easy, and the production volume and cost couldn’t meet Apple’s requirements.

It is also reported that the next generation iPad will have better processing power, graphics, RAM and memory access. The iPad 2 sports 1.2GHz ARM Cortex-A9 dual core, Imagination’s SGX543 dual core graphics card technology, and 512MB RAM that runs at 1,066MHz clock. This faster, better and stronger iPad 2 will give the device more advantage for the upcoming tablet war.
