Tech Giants Apple and Samsung are set to undergo mediation in court on May 21st and 22nd

Long time rivals Apple and Samsung are set to resolve their infringment dispute in a mediation, ordered by Judge Lucy Koh. The two giants are scheduled to meet in a San Francisco court, with magistrate judge Joseph J. Spero as the mediator on May 21 and 22.

Both Apple CEO Tim Cook and Samsung’s Choi Gee-sung have agreed to undergo mediation, following a year-long court case. These two giants have been battling over patent infringement and filing lawsuits against each other in different countries.

Gmail App for iOS, Now Allows Users to E-mail From Alternate Addresses

Google has added a new update to their Gmail mobile app for iOS . This feature allows users to send an email from alternate addresses. This new feature also lets users to confirm which address will be used when composing a reply.

This option has been available in their mobile web version for some time and now it will be available in your iPhones and iPads.

Expect to see this new option to appear in your iOS devices, over the next few days.

Official Blackberry Playbook Keypad, starts shipping March 23, will retail for $120

At last, the Blackberry Playbook, will now have it’s official keypad and it called the Mini Keyboard.

The Mini Keyboard is designed for the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet and enables the user to Write emails, edit documents and surf the web, complete with left and right mouse clicks, just like a desktop and laptop computer. It also comes with convertible case, that lets you easily carry your PlayBook and keyboard together.

According to sources, it will start shipping on March 23 and will retail for $120. We still have to hear an official announcement from RIM, regarding the price and availability of the Mini Keyboard. It seems that you can already pre-order this new product from the online store, The Source.

Samsung files another lawsuit against Apple in a Seoul court

The war between Samsung and Apple is never ending. To add fuel to their ongoing battle, Samsung Electronics Co has filed another lawsuit against Apple in a court in Seoul, Korea. Samsung claims that Apple has infringed patents on data display, user interface and short text messages. These two giants have filed over 30 cases in 10 different countries and it looks like its not gonna end anytime soon.
