MSI Implements B3 Stepping Chipset from Intel

After Intel announced the SATA problems in its Series 6 chipsets last month, MSI immediately took action to replace all of their affected products.

After Intel announced the SATA problems in its Series 6 chipset last month, MSI immediately implemented the B3 Stepping Chipset on its Intel P67/H67 main boards. Facing product defects as a result of the chipset design problem, MSI started replacing all affected products.

And for conumers’ safety, the latest MSI P67/H67 main boards with Intel B3 Stepping Chipset will be labeled with “MSI B3 Stepping Ready” stickers. Meanwhile, MSI has contacted all supply channels to monitor currently affected products, and wholeheartedly apologizes for all the inconveniences. With an implementation of the new chipset technology, let’s just hope that this will solve the SATA problem.

MSI’s WindPad 100W Tablet Now Available at

MSI officially joins the tablet market with the market release of the MSI WindPad 100W. But for $710, is it a bang for the buck device?

Lookie who just entered the tablet category. MSI has just unleashed their WindPad 100W tablet over at with a price tag of $709.95. The 10.1″ Windpad is buffed with Intel’s Atom Z530 1.6GHz single-core processor, 2GB RAM and a 32GB solid state drive. The tablet is powered by Windows 7 while it’s screen resolution is up to 1024 x 600. It’s touted to have atleast six hours battery life, which is not too bad considering the specs.

Although the price is a little bit too much than what you can bargain for, MSI’s new tablet could be a good product to have around for those who’d like to take a risk of purchasing one.
