Apple Starts Selling The New iPad in China on July 20

Apple to sell the New iPad in China, after settling dispute with Proview.
Apple has officially announced that the New iPad will be available in China on July 20.
The tech giant has finally settled its trademark dispute with Chinese company, Proview, to the tune of $60 Million. Proview claimed that they own the legal right to the iPad name and battled Apple in the Chinese court system.
Since everyting is all well between the two companies, the New iPad will finally land in China.
The New iPad’s WiFi and cellular versions with storage capacities of 16 GB, 32 GB or 64 GB, will be for sale in the Asian country, next week.

Apple is set to launch the New iPad in additional 30 countries on May 11 and May 12.
In May 11th the New iPad will arrive in Argentina, Aruba, Bolivia, Botswana, Brazil, Cambodia, Chile, Costa Rica, Curaçao, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Jamaica, Kenya, Madagascar, Malta, Martinique, Mauritius, Morocco, Peru, Taiwan, Tunisia and Vietnam. While on May 12th it goes on sale in the following Middle eastern countries: Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates.

Apple drops shipping period for the New iPad to 3-5 days, instead of 5-7 days.
In line with increasing the production of the New iPad, Apple has also reduced the shipping period for their US customers who will purchase their latest tablet, through the Apple Online Store.
From 5-7 days business days, they have shortened it to just 3-5 days. However, customers outside the United States, like Japan and Korea, will still have to wait for 5 to 7 days and one to two weeks for countries in Europe.
The third generation iPad is now available in over 56 countries, as of last Friday.

The latest Apple tablet arrives in nine additional countries today. beginning at 8 a.m. local time. The New iPad can now be purchased in the following countries Colombia, Estonia, India, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, South Africa and Thailand.
It was first released in the U.S. and other countries last March. The New iPad boasts of a new Retina display, a new A5X chip with quad-core graphics, a 5 megapixel iSight camera and 4G LTE connectivity.

Apple announces the launching of their new third-generation iPad in additional twelve countries this Friday, April 20, in their recent press release.
The following countries are: South Korea, Brunei, Croatia, Cyprus, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Malaysia, Panama, St Maarten, Uruguay and Venezuela. Apple offers a refund to its Australian iPad customers over the 4G confusion.
Apple Australia has offered to refund those customers who bought the iPad 3 under the impression that device’s 4G capabilities would work. The company made the announcement in response to The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission’s demand to stop calling the device 4G capable, since it does not work on Australia’s 4G network.
The ACCC also accused Apple of misleading its customers, an accusation that the company firmly denies, saying that Apple had never claimed that the device would work on Australia’s 4G network.
