Nintendo's own 3D video portal, Nintendo Video, may hit the US shores this week.

Nintendo Video is reportedly set for launch in the U.S. shores this week, even though the company had given conflicting signals. The feature seems to arrive on the 3DS handheld through the eShop. However, the listing turned out to be a “coming soon” reference that is not yet linked to an official download.

When the Nintendo Video utility arrives, it will enable 3DS owners to download and view 3D and 2D videos that are selected by the company. The contents will be available through Spotpass for free, with several new listing to be added annually.

The said feature is already out in Japan, while the company is yet to confirm a specific launch date for the U.S. and other countries’ markets.
