Official Blackberry Playbook Keypad, starts shipping March 23, will retail for $120
At last, the Blackberry Playbook, will now have it’s official keypad and it called the Mini Keyboard.
The Mini Keyboard is designed for the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet and enables the user to Write emails, edit documents and surf the web, complete with left and right mouse clicks, just like a desktop and laptop computer. It also comes with convertible case, that lets you easily carry your PlayBook and keyboard together.
According to sources, it will start shipping on March 23 and will retail for $120. We still have to hear an official announcement from RIM, regarding the price and availability of the Mini Keyboard. Sony is collecting a consensus between fans on what PlayStation Vita peripheral would they like to see. Would this bring a UMD converter in the market soon?
Sony polls their fans on what PlayStation Vita peripherals would they like to see at its Japanese community site. It is obvious that the firm is using their time well, now that the PS Vita will be rolling out in Japan this year, followed by US and Europe early next year. And though the community site is written in Japanese characters, browsing through the pages will tell you that a UMD converter is on top of the wish list. Other peripherals mentioned were cradle with HDMI out, full keyboard attachment, and secondary battery.
It is not surprising that a UMD converter becomes a top request, since there are still UMD-only PSP titles like Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core and Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep. Samsung introduced several accessories that is developed to support the company’s new Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet. Users of the Galaxy Tab can now choose from several docking options that includes a multimedia dock and a keyboard dock. Samsung also offers three different cases, a HDMI adapter, a travel charger, car charger, stylus, Bluetooth keyboard and even a SD card adapter.
The multimedia dock is attached to the Tab in a landscape view. It enables users to view video, pictures and contents. A 3.5mm jack is also provided for audio output, but users still have to buy and connect the company’s HDMI adapter for video pass through. Oh no! Apple is cutting some software and peripherals from their retail store. But why?
The Loop reports that Apple is planning to cut a couple of software titles and peripherals from its retail stores. The Cupertino-based company aims to free up some space, accommodating the Personal Setup service for Mac that was launched last January.
Among the products that will no longer be displayed are printers, scanners and some hard drives. However, this peripherals will still be stocked in the stores and will be available for purchase. In addition to this, Apple is also getting rid of 32 game titles, in favor of the Mac App Store.
