E-reader Users Surpasses Tablet Fans

Pew Internet Project's survey reveals that users of e-readers in America doubled to 12% starting November 2010 to May 2011.

Number of E-reader users are increasing in last six months, surpassing the tablet growth that has enjoyed a ramp-up after iPad was launched last year.

Based on a study conducted by the Pew Internet Project: The number of people in the U.S. who uses Kindle, Nook or other e-reader devices were doubled to 12% between the month of November last year to May this year. Meanwhile, tablet users increased to three percent in the same period of time from 5 percent to 8 percent.
