Experience convenient gaming with Sony Xperia Play even when you receive a call.
The Sony Xperia Play, aka the PlayStation Phone, has got the right stuff to deliver some sweet PS gaming under the comfort of a phone. But have you ever wondered what will happen if you receive a call while you’re playing a game on it?
Basically the game will cut out as the Xperia enters into phone mode. After taking care of business or just cancelling the phone call, the phone goes back to the game screen and a “continue” button will appear. This means the Xperia will pause the game once you grab a call, and you can conveniently play the game right where you left it.

Sony is pulling out all the stops as they deliver a striking, terrifying ad that the smartphone world has NEVER done, and perhaps will never do.
Only Sony can think about doing a smartphone commercial with this degree of horrifying imagery. Many were already appaled by the first commercial where we saw the green we-thought-it-was-cute Android bot with human fingers crudely stitched to its hands, and now we come across with the backstory of where the thumbs came from. In a nutshell, a guy was clubbing on a bar, got hooked up with a girl and the next thing he knows is that his thumbs are gone and is now reporting on some South East Asian police joint. This advertising masterpiece has an editorial feel to it and apparently talks to guys (or girls) that want serious fun on their smartphones. It doesn’t exactly speak Google, it’s all Sony. And we love it!

Android is ready to play alright.
We get two sides of a coin. On one side, we have Sony which is known to deliver a very editorial, sometimes creepy commercials that provokes the human mind; on the other, we have Google, very well known for their clean, simple, yet engaging ads. So what happens when you mesh up the two? Ideally we get a 50/50 collaboration right? Well the Sony Xperia Play commercial tells otherwise. Looks like Sony creatives got the better of Google’s and has launched a disturbing ad that has somehow ‘chopped’off’ the Android’s cute factor. I don’t know about you guys but I like it.

PlayStation Phone video shows how we can play PlayStation One games on the device. Too bad the way they do it isn't legit.
We’ve seen the pictures, we’ve seen the specs, we’ve also seen how the PlayStation Phone works somehow, but now we finally get to see what we really want to see in the first place, a PlayStation Phone that runs games. The three minute clip shows that the PlayStation Phone loads up PlayStation One games from via ROM Buddy. The ROM Buddy can load up ROM files (which can be available on the Internet) like Bioharzard 2 and Rage Racer. Too bad the way they’re playing the game isn’t quite legit. It will be a matter of time until the Sony Ericsson police comes around and stop it.
