EA's Dead Space 3 will be launched during next week's E3

EA confirms the launch of the latest installation for its Dead Space game franchise. They are set to unveil it at nextweek’s game conference, along with the game’s first footage.

Dead Space 3′s first game footage will be shown during EA’s own conference. Several game images have already leaked and spread all over the internet over the past year.

EA said in an interview with IGN:

“We’re excited to unveil Dead Space 3 to the world at the EA press conference next week.”.

Besides confirming the launch of the upcoming Dead Space installation, EA has been tight lipped on the upcoming title’s game details.

The game developer 2K Sports has yet to reveal details about this upcoming game. NBA 2K13 is expected to be a hit, just like its predecessor NBA 2K12, which sold around 5 million game units.

Sony launches the red PS3 in Australia, after Japan and UK

picks as the next country to launch the game console. It was released in last year and is set to launch in UK, this May 11, according to Amazon.

The red PS3 will hit the Australian shores on May 31 and is set to retail for AU$460 (US$470). This colored game console is the 320GB version that goes with two matching Dualshock 3 controllers.

A yellow PS3 is set to be launched, however Sony has yet to make an official announcement about it.

PlayStation Network is scheduled to undergo a 13-hour maintenance tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. EST.

The Network is set to undergo a 13-hour tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. EST. This was announced by Matthew Harper, the Senior Manager for PlayStation Digital Platforms, through the PlayStation Blog.

While under maintenance the , PlayStation Home, Account Management services and online play as well as PlayStation websites hosted on servers, like the Official PlayStation Blog will be also unavailable.

Sony Tablet S Now Available for Pre-Order, Shipping Begins Sept.16

Sony's latest tablet entry is now up for pre-order at its own site. Price starts at $500 for the 16GB model.

The , which was first revealed last week, is now up for on the company’s official online store and selected retailers. The device will ship on September 16 in the US, while Canadian markets could receive the units a week later on Sept. 23. Reports have confirmed that the 16GB version will be retailed for $500, and the larger 32GB model could be yours for $600.

The Tablet S is said to be a certified device that runs on an Android 3.1 , and is powered by a NVIDIA 2 processor. It has a 9.4-inch touchscreen, with IR port and DLNA-compatibility — allowing you to use the tablet as a remote control for most of your home entertainment . Aside from that, the Tablet S features the Sony e-reader gaming store, which could help users in downloading different original titles.

Meanwhile, Sony is also working on the folding, dual-screen Tablet P. However, there are still no reports with regards to its pricing and official launching date.

Sony Releases a Second Teaser Video for S1 and S2 Tablets

Two weeks after Sony released their first 'Two will' video, the "Going Smoothly" flick for S1 and S2 is out.

After releasing the first video dubbed “First Impression” two weeks ago, Sony released the second in its series of ‘Two Will’ five teaser videos for their upcoming Android-powered tablets.

The new video is called “Going Smoothly,” and it features the two tablets communicating through a native e-mail app. The S1 tablet have a 9.4-inch touchscreen and Tegra 2 processor, while the S2 features a folding design and two 5.5 inch screens — which goes along virtual PlayStation buttons. Both tablets will have access to Sony’s Qriocity and video service and support DLNA media streaming.

When the fifth and the final video is released, the tablets might be ready for launch. Based on the gap between the first two videos, it is predicted that the tablets will be release in mid-August.

As Sony present PlayStation Vita at E3 2011, they also discussed about the internal memory card for the said console.

At the presentation of ’s , Sony also showed the new removable internal card for the said console. It will be available in 4 GB, 8 GB, 16 GB, and 32 GB as it was said in .

Unlike the memory stick, the said memory card appearance is very close to a variety of SD(Secure Digital) cards that has an ultra small flash memory card designed, it just have a little notch in its side confirming they hew to Sony’s unfortunate habit of using proprietary formats. But the cost of Vita’s memory card is still shrouded with mysteries.
