Panasonic just revealed its new family member: The Lumix DMC-TS3. The camera that is ideal for the wild outdoors is set to hit the market this March.
Panasonic’s Lumix T series got a new member — the Lumix DMC-TS3. The 12.1-megapixel camera is designed to endure a drop from 6.6ft. high, a temperature as low as 14 degrees Fahrenheit, and an underwater environment up to 40ft. deep. The Lumix DMC-TS3 is also friendly to the wild outdoors with its built-in GPS receiver and compass, altimeter and barometer.
Furthermore, Panasonic’s Lumix DMC-TS3 also features a new 3D mode. The camera will record 20 consecutive images as the user pans across a scene. After that, the Lumix DMC-TS3 will overlay the two best photos to create a 3D image file. It is a combination of multi-touch surface and optical mouse, giving its users the best of both worlds. The Microsoft Touch Mouse is designed for Windows 7, bringing improved support of multi-touch devices to the platform. The reaction of the Touch Mouse depends on the number of fingers touching the surface.
