Sony fights PS3 hackers anew with Firmware 3.56. Will it be enough or does Sony have something else under their corporate sleeves?

Sony has just released a new firmware update for the PlayStation 3. Firmware 3.56, as Sony’s VP for Network Operations for Sony Computer Entertainment America Eric Lempel explained on their blog, “is a minor update that adds a security patch,” something we’ve heard over and over everytime the company releases new updates.

Sony Starts Banning Jail Broken PS3; Firmware 3.60 Coming Soon

Sony's finding out if you've been naughty or nice as they begin banning jail broken accounts and consoles from the PSN.

A recorded customer inquiry over at the Sony Playstation Australia uploaded in Youtube revealed that Sony will be banning jail broken accounts and PlayStation 3 consoles permanently unless they restore the system. Sony will also be releasing Firmware 3.60 to further fend off hackers from infiltrating the console.
