Sony Starts Banning Jail Broken PS3; Firmware 3.60 Coming Soon

Sony's finding out if you've been naughty or nice as they begin banning jail broken accounts and consoles from the PSN.

A recorded customer inquiry over at the Sony Playstation Australia uploaded in Youtube revealed that Sony will be banning jail broken accounts and PlayStation 3 consoles permanently unless they restore the system. Sony will also be releasing Firmware 3.60 to further fend off hackers from infiltrating the console.

Firmware 3.50 for PlayStation 3 Arrives

The latest firmware for Playstation 3 received thumbs up from the Tokyo Game Show and now ready to conquer the market.

Sony made the new version 3.50 of Playstation 3 firmware available today.

The major feature on the update is a surprise announcement from the Tokyo Game Show which ended just recently. The firmware updates the PS3’s Blu ray playback to support Blu-ray 3D spec discs.

With two additional features, you can now easily report users who sent spam messages to you. Plus, you can now select to give game access to your Facebook profile information. This feature is toggled in the Playstation Network. See the full details of the firmware here.
