‘Le Terme’ is a shower room that combines technology with luxury

Designer Fei Chung Billy Ho has come up with an innovative concept, ‘Le Terme’, a high-tech shower room that allows techies to enjoy a luxurious showering experience with the help of technology.

It features a stainless steel structure that has a touch sensitive, see-through display panels which can be synced to any tablet or smartphone. It lets users to browse through websites, listen to music, even make phone calls while showering. It also has a cypress wood base that is hygienic because it naturally kills bacteria, viral infections, and fungus.

Ho’s creative design made him a finalist in the Reece Bathroom Innovation Award.

Gingerbread-Powered Acer Iconia Smart, Coming This September

The 4.8″ phone hybrid from Acer will finally arrive in September.

Acer had finally scheduled a release date for their Gingerbread-powered Iconia Smart handset. According to the manufacturer, the smartphone will be hitting the market sometime in September. Although Acer has not revealed any reasons behind the device’s launching delay, some rumors believed that the Japan earthquake might be a big factor.

Meanwhile, most of Acer’s devices, which are said to be affected by the devastating earthquake, did not face any problems in terms of production. The 4.8″ Acer Iconia Smart will be sporting a 1024×480 display resolution, and will be equipped with Android 2.3 and a 1GHz processor. The new phone hybrid will also feature two high-end cameras: An 8-megapixel primary cam and a 2-megapixel frontal camera.

According to some reports, the FCC suggests the Iconia Smart to have its first landing in North America, but the launching date and carriers for that action remain undisclosed. On the other hand, the Acer Germany’s official Facebook announced that the European variant of the smartphone will be sold for the price of €499 or ~$700 USD.
