CES 2011 Battle of the 3D and HDTVs; Sony’s XBR-HX929 and Panasonic’s VT30 Lead the Pack

The CES 2011 was practically a warzone between two of the largest television manufacturers on the planet, Sony and Panasonic, as they show off their lineup of 3D and HDTVs that leaves us mesmerized to say the least.

Sony and Panasonic, two of the world’s largest electronics manufacturer, didn’t leave a corner unturned as each of their presentation for their 3D and HDTV lineup was definitely a sight beyond anything we’ve ever seen yet. And what really caught our attention was their flagship models, the Sony XBR-HX929 and Panasonic’s VT30. And while they dish each other out by having the fanciest features and sharp designs, we just couldn’t decide who’d win this battle. Although Sony was pretty confident that by 2013, they will be the number one manufacturer in the entire world. Panasonic, and definitely other brands, would not let it happen anytime soon. Sony Opens the World of 3D at CES 2011

"Ladies and gentlemen, put on your 3D glasses." ---Sony

CES 2011 is here! First amongst our favorite list of surprises came from Sony.

The Sony CES 2011 Press Conference opened with a 3D presentation. It was followed by an inspiring speech from Sony CEO Howard Stringer. And just like what Sony said: “Ladies and gentlemen, put on your 3D glasses.”

Sony’s product line-up revolved around yes — 3D technology. If your 3D glasses are ready, let’s start the show. Sir Howard Stringer described 2010 as:

“The past year has been a good one for Sony, and we are stronger, leaner, and more profitable.”

If you look at the big picture you will notice the progressive growth of Sony. It paved the way for new developments. And now, Sony explored more the world of 3D. Not only does this 3D technology expands to TVs but also to cameras, camcorders, notebooks and players. Want to know more? Read on.
