Spotify is now available on your BlackBerry but there’s a catch!

Spotify officially announced the release of its version that is compatible for the BlackBerry. To download the app, users simply need to visit m.spotify.com on their phone browsers and follow the instructions.

The app is suitable only with BlackBerry units Bold 9780, Bold 9700, Bold 9000, Curve 9300 and Curve 8520. As of the moment, the app only supports BlackBerry units with GSM networks. Users with Torch 9800 and CDMA-network phones will not be able to enjoy the app.

A user must subscribe to Spotify Premium to be able to stream for available catalogue. Spotify offers 48-hour free trial from the mobile app or a 30-day free trial upon signing up.

Spotify CEO, Daniel Ek, talked about the application's deep integration with Facbook during F8 conference last Thursday.

At last Thrusday’s F8 conference, Spotify CEO – Daniel Ek – talked about the launch of Facebook Music. And to clear things out, the new feature is not a console built on top of the social networking site. It is a partnership made around a number of music apps like Rdio, Mog or Iheartradio through the new Open Graph platform.

Spotify for iOS Adds New Playlist Functionality

Spotify version 0.4.13 for iOS is now out, and it carries additional functionalities that users will love.

Spotify just updated its iOS app for Apple’s portable devices like iPhone and iPod Touch. This version 0.4.13 will enable users to sync their playlists even when Spotify is running in the background. In addition to this, the left-to-right ‘swipe’ action on individual tracks shows additional menu with other options.
