The rumored Final Fantasy XIII HD trailer goes official with numerous combat moves and battle plays. Are you ready for the ultimate fantasy?

The leaked HD trailer of the popular Final Fantasy Versus XIII is now official. Square Enix has finally released the official version giving its die-hard gamers a closer and clearer look on the battle system.

You will notice that it contains many similarities with the Kingdom Hearts. It features the Disney mashup game, the “three-characters-at-once” control and the party-based combat system. Switching between different characters are now enabled; together with its signature attack.

Corporation Service Company, the very company that registers domains for SquareEnix games such as Gun Loco, Nier, and Front Mission Evolved has recently registered www.finalfantasy13-2game.com website. Big news, huh? This strand of detail may provide information that SquareEnix is working on something huge this year (or probably proof that the Japanese gaming company is fleshed out of ideas). Dissidia 012 [Duodecim] Final Fantasy PSP Bundle Pictures Released

What happens when you fuse Yoshitaka Amano art with the PSP? Pure awesomeness.

Square Enix wasn’t kidding when they said back at Jump Fiesta that they’ll be releasing a PSP hardware bundle for Dissidia Duodecim Final Fantasy special edition package. And here we are now, a couple of weeks after the announcement, for our eyes to gander as they reveal the “Chaos and Cosmos Limited” PSP hardware. Yoshitaka Amano seems to be everywhere these days, even on hardware, as the PSP celebrates the vast talent of Final Fantasy’s resident artist.

The Dissidia Duodecim Final Fantasy Chaos & Cosmos Limited PSP system will go on sale on March 3 for ¥22,890 or roughly $270. The North American version release date has yet to be announced.

The “3rd Birthday” on 6th Place, Monster Hunter Portable 3rd Top on Sales Chart List

The 3rd Birthday game surely is celebrating. When Inside Games tallied the weekly sale of games, 3rd Birthday suddenly burst out with pride as they hit the sixth part of the top ten fast selling games.

Inside Games has given Media Create’s weekly sales data today for December 20-26.

Monster Hunter Portable 3rd hit the charts for the fourth week in a row, with a whooping 404,000 units since its December 1 release. Newcomers in the top 10 are AKB1/48 and The 3rd Birthday. Both of which are for PSP. The former sold 236,000 units. The latter sold 140,000 units. AKB1/48’s success was previously hinted at with some reports indicating over 250,000 pre-orders. New Dissidia Duodecim Final Fantasy Trailer Released; Epicness Abound

Gadg got some drama from Lightning, and alot more from the old and new characters of Dissidia Duodecim Final Fantasy in this epic trailer. All you have to do is hit the play button.

Square Enix just unleashed their newest trailer for Dissidia Duodecim Final Fantasy. Lightning, Tifa, Kain, and other new characters join in the fray as the short clip somehow explains their purpose and motivation in siding with Cosmos. The trailer, which was first shown in Jump Fiesta 2011, also showed some sweet bits on how the Assists will work in the game. Moreover, Tifa and Cloud looked amazing when they were fighting Sephiroth together!

Final Fantasy Trading Card Update

Square Enix has given its update report for the Final fantasy Trading Card Game that will be released on February. Check out the article below for more info.

Square Enix recently provided follow-up news on the Final Fantasy themed trading card game that was announced last month. The Final Fantasy Trading Card Game is a one-on-one card game that has players battling out. The cards feature characters from the original game, along with the summons from the FF series.

Dissidia Duodecim Confirmed Release Date

It's been leaked over at Jump Fiesta, but now it's official. Dissidia Duodecim Final Fantasy is set to be out on March 3, 2011 as the developers made the announcement today.

Yes ladies and gents of the video game world, less than 3 months from now we’ll be having the prequel/sequel of the highly anticipated, semi-fan serviced, crossover fighting game in our grasps. That means 3 months to go before Laguna Loire, Tifa Lockheart, Vann, and Lightning join the roster of our beloved Square Enix franchise.

No official word yet if the release date includes the Cosmos and Chaos limited edition PSP bundles. The game is priced at ¥6,090 and a downloadable version will be released simultaneously, priced ¥4,980.

No announcements have been made yet regarding its NA release, but we expect it to come around the following year.

The January issue of Game Informer magazine will be unveiling the new Tomb Raider game created by the bright minds of Crystal Dynamics. This news was announced by the game publisher Square Enix today. It appears that the game is titled “Tomb Raider” which will retell the origin of Lara Croft.

The first Dissidia was impressive even beyond the confines of Final Fantasy fan-service, but as we inch closer to the second installment, can Dissidia 012 live up to the standards the first one have set? And what is this Action mode and RPG mode?

Dissisia 012: Final Fantasy answers the question “How everything started?” as we follow the back story of the war between the 2 divine beings of the game, Chaos and Cosmos, and perhaps patch up some plot points. And as we figure out why the battle has been going on beyond mortal comprehension, new modes, new interfaces, and new characters have been recently revealed to us budding players.

A Secret Square Enix Game for Jump Festa

Square Enix has released a close-up look at its booth for next week's Jump Festa, and there seems to be space for an unannounced title. What could this mystery title be?

As Square Enix releases a close-up look at its booth for the upcoming Jump Festa, a rumor for a secret game is cooking. The booth listed all the previously announced game from Square Enix namely Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix, The 3rd Birthday, Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 2 Professional, SaGA 3 and Dragon Quest Monsters Wanted!. Included in the list is a game flagged as “???”. Though the title is yet to be unveiled, it won’t be a Nomura joint.
