LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars Denied of February Release

The force is not strong enough to catapult the LEGO Star Wars game for a February release, it seems.

Bad news everyone, the highly-anticipated, action-packed LEGO title that has ever graced the video game industry will no longer see a February 15th release. LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars will instead break on the 22nd of March, says game developer LucasArts.

LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars is an action-adventure, sci-fi game developed by Traveller’s Tales and Lucas Arts for the Xbox 360, PlayStaion 3, Nintendo Wii, PSP, Nintendo DS and PC. The game will include the characters from the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series along with other fan-favorite characters from the epic Star Wars movie saga. Star Wars Saga in 3D

Lucasfilm gave the go signal to release the entire Star Wars Saga amplified with 3D technology.

Sci-fi fanatics will have another reason to celebrate. Lucasfilm will be releasing the entire Star Wars saga in 3D in 2012. The first offering would be “The Phantom Menace.”

Fans will have to wait for two years because the creators will take a lot of time processing each film. Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) will be in charged of the conversion of the films while Fox will handle distribution duties.
