Prepare for some BlizzCon 2011 madness, as GADG presents its predictions on what we'll see on this year's edition of the convention.
BlizzCon 2011 has always been the show stealer when it comes to yearly gaming conventions, and this year will most likely be the same as Blizzard is touted to give a stellar show line-up — including the much anticipated reveal on Diablo III’s release date.
Last year’s BlizzCon showcased the herald of World of Warcraft: Cataclysm and a couple of sweet details on StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty. With Diablo III still having little to no clues as to when it will come out, plus few and far in between in-game details about the RPG, many are speculating that Blizzard will go all out with the sequel of the Diablo franchise and the game will take center stage this BlizzCon 2011 when the convention kicks in October 21.Read the rest of the article »

Mark your calendars, because this October, Blizzard will be answering some of our toughest questions like: "When is Diablo III coming out already?!"
Mark your calendars and get your gears in check, because Blizzard has already announced that the BlizzCon 2011 is coming back to the Anaheim Convention Center this October 21 to October 22. What can we expect this year other than the usual panel discussions, tournaments, freebies, and collectibles? Will we finally get to see a preview of Deathwing in all his glory in World of Warcraft: Cataclysm’s final patch? Are we going to get a hint of the next World of Warcraft? Will there be more sneak peek of the upcoming StarCraft II expansions? And are we EVER going to get Diablo III anytime soon? We’ve got so many questions to ponder over the next couple of months, but until then, the best way to hasten time is to keep on playing (and all those things about work, school, and real life).Read the rest of the article »
'World of StarCraft' still lives. Though we may need to call it something else if we don't want Blizzard deleting the videos again.
Blizzard admits that it asked YouTube to remove the ‘World of StarCraft’ clips on the video sharing site but not because it deems the game itself is illegal, but because the name was in breach of some copyright brouhaha the gaming company has instigated.
The game mod, which was headed by Ryan Winzen, still exists to our delight and Blizzard have taken interest in the game and their group as they invited them over to have a talk with StarCraft II developers. Should everything go well, the best thing that can happen is Ryan Wizen and probably a couple of members from his crew will come back not as guests anymore, but bonafide Blizzard programmers.Read the rest of the article »
