Broadways star Josh Gad is tapped to play, Apple co-founder, Steve Wozniak in the upcoming Steve Jobs biopic, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The independent film, will star Ashton Kutcher as Steve Jobs and will start filming next month in Texas, with a tight budget of $5 million.

Beset from certain health issues, Steve Jobs steps down from Apple's CEO position.
55-year-old Apple co-founder and CEO, Steve Jobs, has just resigned from his current position in the company. He issued a resignation letter last Wednesday, telling the Board of Directors that he would remain as the Chairman of the Board and will appoint Tim Cook to become the new CEO. The board approved Jobs’ request and made the resignation effective right away.
Former Apple COO, Tim Cook – who has been with Jobs for most of his ups and downs in the company – has been appointed to be Steve’s successor. “The Board has complete confidence that Tim is the right person to be our next CEO.” Art Levinson stated. “Tim’s 13 years of service to Apple have been marked by outstanding performance, and he has demonstrated remarkable talent and sound judgment in everything he does.”Read the rest of the article »
Based on a rumor, Apple is planning to release a revised version of iPad 2 that will have a higher resolution than its predecessor and it will be named as "iPad HD."
As Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple, declared that 2011 would be the year of iPad 2, the company is planning to release a new version of the said device. The revised iPad would have a much sharper screen, as it uses a 9.7-inch 2048 x 1536 pixel display.
The revised version will be called “iPad HD”. According to sources, the new iPad will have a higher resolution than the recent version. It would also be compatible with some iPad versions of Final Cut Pro or Aperture. While early rumors about the iPad 2 said that it will have a “Retina” display, the device just featured the same 1024 x 768 resolution. Best Buy put a hold on MacBook Air's online orders because of Apple's plan to release a Gold Master build of Mac OS X Lion.
Best Buy ceased current-generation MacBook Air orders on their order list, following the news about Apple upgrading the diminutive laptop. Simultaneously, all MacBook Air Models on Apple’s online store remain steady for shipping.

DailyTech awakened a long-time running rumor that Apple might be entering the TV market with their Apple TV set top box.
The rumors about the launching of Apple TV set top box have been buzzing around the industry for over several years. And although Apple’s Steve Jobs and Tim Cook both declared before that there’s no possibility for the company to release 42″ and 50″ Plasmas in Apple Stores, DailyTech still brought back this hearsay.
