ASUS already announced the arrival of its Eee Pad Slidder in the US.

ASUS announced the details regarding the arrival of Eee Pad Slider to US during the Pepcom event last Wednesday night. The firm’s unique, tilt-sliding tablet will be arriving in the US shore by the end of September; and will cost about $475 for a 16GB Wi-Fi version and $575 for 32GB. The models for US will ship in with Androiod 3.2 already installed.

The said device is fundamentally similar to the relatively popular Transformer with the following features.

– 10-inch IPS-based touchscreen
– NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor
– Five megapixel rear camera
– 1.2 megapixel front camera

ASUS design is intended for those users who wanted the Transformer’s keyboard dock in an integrated design. However, the Eee Pad Slider is heavier and thicker than the earlier device. It comes around 2.12 pounds and 0.68 inches thick. The sad part is, its battery life will be shorter than the Transformer union’s 16 hours.

ASUS reveals full Eee Pad Slider specs through its newly launched page.

Without any noticeable actions, ASUS finally kicked off an official page wherein people could take a look at the confirmed specifications for the Eee Pad Slider device. The tablet will still be sporting Tegra 2 processors, with 1GB RAM and a 16GB or 32GB storage like the Transformer. However, since the device features a built-in keyboard, the Eee Pad Slider will be much heavier — measuring 2.12 pounds and 0.68 inches deep.

Moreover, the manufacturer announced that they will be upgrading the tablet from Android 3.1 into Android 3.2.

The ASUS Eee Pad Slider also comes with plenty of ports, such as a USB, a mini HDMI, a headphone jack and a microSD slot. The 10.1-inch tablet takes pride in having a 1280×800 display resolution with great camera features similar to Transformer. It brings a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera and 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash.

This unique tablet from ASUS is slated to hit the market sometime in September 2011. Its 16GB version is expected to be retailed for $400, while the 32GB model gets a $550 price tag.
