After releasing an app that allows users to watch movie trailers from iTunes directly on your iPad, Apple has released a new update that lets you stream movies in the New iPad’s retina display.

Leaked BlackBerry OS 7.1 for Torch 9810 surfaces, includes mobile hotspot support
A leaked version of BlackBerry OS 7.1 has just surfaced, thanks to the good folks at OSBB. The OS build which can be used for BlackBerry Torch 9810 updates the 188.8.131.520 ROM with the 7.1 features and includes mobile hotspot support, a feature that enables sharing of mobile phone’s 3G network with other devices.

Sony announced to the public their latest PS3 upgrade called 3.70 which includes automatic cloud saving, 3D photos, and TV channel.
Sony had put out a new PS3 update for the online and 3D users of the said console on Tuesday. The upgrade, which is called the 3.70 upgrade, turns on automatic cloud saving for those who have the PlayStation Plus accounts that is required for the service.

Acer's Iconia Tab A500 upgraded with Android 3.1 will include all features displayed at Google I/O.
Acer began shipping out the new version of its Iconia Tab A500 upgraded with Android 3.1 on Wednesday. However, Iconia Tab is not the first tablet to have an Android 3.1. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 was the first tablet to have it, and shipped with it out of the box. Also, some Xoom users are getting the said upgrade.
However, Acer didn’t announce when will the A500 owners get the upgrade. Usually, upgrades and updates are pushed out within a number of days or weeks. It also don’t come automatically. Owners should manually check it to make the update faster.

Ditching a phone like HTC Hero is understandable. But Desire? No way!
Last Tuesday, HTC announced that the Desire is not qualified for an Android 2.3 update due to lack of memory. But due to enormous pressure garnered from this statement, the company reconsidered their decision immediately. It seems that the company was able to solve the RAM puzzle, and decided that Gingerbread will eventually come to HTC Desire.
