Finally! The Motorola Droid X is getting a taste of Android's Gingerbread update.
Motorola and Verizon are finally rolling out an Adroid 2.3 update for the Droid X smartphone. In addition to this, the Gingerbread update is also available to those with rooted handsets. However, the build v4.5.596 for Motorola Droid X is only available to selected owners as part of their first roll out of updates.

Original plan was scrapped! No Honeycomb for Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. It now carries the Android 3.1.
Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet will now carry the updated Android 3.1 operating system, which change was already made on its product page. In addition to this, a representative from Samsung Mobile confirmed the new version in a comment.
Integration of the updated Android 3.1 operating system means that the Samsung Galaxy Tab will have a support for Google’s Android movie rental service, USB-connected peripherals, resizable widgets and Flash Player 10.2 support.View Article Source »
Spotify version 0.4.13 for iOS is now out, and it carries additional functionalities that users will love.
Spotify just updated its iOS app for Apple’s portable devices like iPhone and iPod Touch. This version 0.4.13 will enable users to sync their playlists even when Spotify is running in the background. In addition to this, the left-to-right ‘swipe’ action on individual tracks shows additional menu with other options.

Phantasy Star Online 2 finally gets some more updates. Unfortunately, no release date yet.
Sega has recently unveiled details on what’s new with their long-delayed multiplayer RPG. The video was revealed this past weekend through a Phantasy Star Online 2 promotional event in Akihabara, and based on the clip, gamers will be getting new hunting areas, a third-person shooter feature, plus the ability to jump!
Sega has yet to announce the release date of Phantasy Star Online 2. However, reports share that the alpha test of the RPG will commence this summer. That doesn’t precisely indicate when’s the exact date of release, does it?

And though it’s still odd how the big company removes this feature during its initial launch, it’s better late than never. But aside from the highly anticipated copy and paste update, the NoDo also comes with additional tweaks.

- * Performance tune ups.

It's raining cats and dogs in Minecraft, as developers unveil a preview video of what the game would look like once Minecraft 1.5 kicks in.
Aching for some more Minecraft content? Well here’s a tease for you, folks over at the blocky world. The next update for Minecraft – Minecraft 1.5 – will unleash several new features, including a statistics log, the achievement system, and weather effects.
Markus “Notch” Persson was gracious enough to upload a preview video of what the update’s new features would look like in-game, though he admitted that there’s still some things needed to be fixed before totally releasing the update, particularly the weather effects. After iOS 4.3.1, Apple will release the 4.3.2 update soon!
After Apple pushed the iOS 4.3.1 for the iPhone 4 and other compatible devices, the Cupertino-based company is said to unleash iOS 4.3.2 in the coming weeks. The company intends to address some security issues, as well as fix up a few more bugs present in the device. That said, it only makes sense why this update will roll out on iTunes quietly.

The galaxy has just gotten faster as Samsung unveils that the Galaxy S II will be getting a processor boost to 1.2GHZ.
Been holding out for a Samsung Galaxy S II? Well, looks like it finally paid off — sort of. There’s some good news and bad news. The good news is that Samsung has finally decided to upgrade the Galaxy S II’s dual core processor to 1.2GHz, up from 1GHz. The bad news is, we won’t see it until May or even June.
The report came from Samsung Estonia’s Facebook page, and has been confirmed by GSM Arena from an “internal source.” The one or two month delay remains a mystery, although some UK retailers have already unveiled that the Galaxy S II will make a debut on May 6th. Samsung India, on the other hand, has announced over at Twitter that the phone is set for a global launch later before June.
