Acer's Iconia Tab A500 upgraded with Android 3.1 will include all features displayed at Google I/O.
Acer began shipping out the new version of its Iconia Tab A500 upgraded with Android 3.1 on Wednesday. However, Iconia Tab is not the first tablet to have an Android 3.1. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 was the first tablet to have it, and shipped with it out of the box. Also, some Xoom users are getting the said upgrade.
However, Acer didn’t announce when will the A500 owners get the upgrade. Usually, upgrades and updates are pushed out within a number of days or weeks. It also don’t come automatically. Owners should manually check it to make the update faster.

Xbox 360 discs are about to get fatter, as Microsoft frees up 1GB space for the developers' ambitious delight.
Remember Mass Effect 2 for the Xbox 360? Remember when we had to switch from Disc 1 to Disc 2 like it’s the PlayStation One era all over again? Sucks, right? Well according to Digital Foundry, that might change soon, as Microsoft’s unveiling an upgrade that will free up one gigabyte on its dual-layer DVD disc. This is something developers and players are ought to be celebrating.
The usable space on an average Xbox 360 disc is 6.8GB out of 7.95GB. The remaining space is purportedly used for anti-piracy measures and a video partition. Creative ZiiO tablets just got yummier with Froyo. Let's hope it'll go Honeycomb soon.
Somewhere in the vast territories of the tablet-kingdom, a handful of Creative ZiiO tablets are out there waiting for some good news to arrive. Well, they need not to wait any further. Creative Technology Ltd. has announced that they’re upgrading its Creative ZiiO 7″ Android-based tablet to Android 2.2 Froyo on March 25. Current owners will be able to download the upgrade for free via support.creative.com or ZiiO Space portals found on the tablets. The 10″ owners, on the other hand, can expect the upgrade sometime around April. This is good news indeed, but do you know what would make as better news? Upgrade the tablets to Honeycomb instead!
