TouchPad, HP’s WebOS 3.0-based tablet is coming to the U.S. on the first of July.

WebOS 3.0 features a precise notification system, as well as the ability to multitask with a card-based method to switch between open apps, group related tasks in a stack of cards, and tap apps off with a simple finger gesture.

This nifty gadget has a very competent dual-core 1.2 Ghz Snapdragon processor, 16 GB or 32 GB of storage, 1 GB of RAM, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and a 1.3-megapixel camera for video calls.

The 16 GB version costs $499.99, while the 32 GB version will set you back $599.99.

Missed HP/Palm’s ‘Think Beyond’ event? Wish you were there when they announced the HP/Palm TouchPad webOS tablet, the HP Pre 3 and the HP Veer? Well no need to feel sorry for yourself as HP posts the complete two-hour video of the event over at Youtube. You can all act surprised if you like as they make the announcements and demos of their tablet and smartphones along with the rest of the people in the video. Better get some towel because the entire video is a drool-fest. HP really knows how to ‘think beyond.’ don’t they?

HP/Palm’s “Think Beyond” event has been spectacular, to say the least. With the arrival of the HP/Palm TouchPad webOS tablet, comes 3 more juicy news under their sleeves: the HP Pre 3 and HP Veer smartphones, plus the awesome news that webOS is going to make an appearance at the PC. If there’s one thing we can say about the “Think Beyond” event, it was beyond anything we’ve expected.
